A story of Triumph

Today, I was thinking of Marielda, who used to live in the garbage dumps but was led out a few years ago by the leaders of our team, the Banovs. She was given a safe home and food, but more importantly, she was given hope. Marielda enrolled in the University and desires to be an administrator.  She has 2 1/2 more years to go.  She travels with the Global teams which come to Casa Betesda and she ministers alongside the teams to people who still live where she used to.  She posesses the gift of organization which would possibly lead her to oversee the new girls dormitory for the orphanage.  Once the kids turn 14, the law states they must leave Casa Betesda and many must go back to the streets.  The new dorm is for girls age14 and over and hopefully should open in a matter of months.  We visited it, praying a speedy completion as there were six girls most recently let go who are in desperate need of shelter and safety.  Our team pledged support and the entire $13,000 needed was attained to get the work finished and approval signed asap.
