Preparations for Departure

The Team and I are looking at flying to Nicaraugua in exactly three weeks from today.  I awoke this morning praying for the children and families that are waiting for us to arrive. Our hope is to bless and love as many as possible on this journey.  And you are a part of that too.  Thank you all for believing in my vision and supporting me in prayer and love. 

There are so many basic toys and gifts that we can plan to bring – but remember we are ministering to the whole neighborhood on Christmas so we will need lots and lots of gifts !!!  (we can expect at least  400 – 700  children that day )

Be creative! Ladies, clean out your jewelry box of your un-wanted or un-needed costume items that we  can give to the teenagers and women on the streets. That’s one of the favorite things to do! How about visiting the dollar store and stocking up on toy cars or bouncy balls for the little boys? Maybe even send some bags of balloons or some stickers? It will keep the children entertained for hours!

Thank you to those who are sending in little t-shirts/pj's/ toothbrushes, etc.  These are such commodities there.  I am so overwhelmed by all of your generosity.  You are blessed to be a blessing.
