Each one of us is soooo very blessed in sooo many ways; why is it that we take only one day to celebrate this in the US? As I prepare for this journey, and see video and pictures and read blogs of Casa Betesda in Managua, my heart melts like wax at the joy in the faces of those who have little or nothing. I desire to walk in such freedom from material wants. I no longer see recession moving in but always notice favor dispensed by a Loving God, right down to owning a toothbrush.
I have not yet met this new family of siblings in Managua but they have already changed me by who they are. "Tu eres especiale para Dios!" It is my honor to introduce you all to my family as they will certainly impact you, too.
